What is the living cost dashboard?
It is a single page that combines salary, rent, bills, debt and emergency fund into one overview with budget status, rent pressure, savings rate and recommended tools.
Are these official cost figures?
No. The dashboard uses only the numbers you enter. It does not provide official tax, rent or cost-of-living data.
Should I use gross or net income?
Use net income after tax. If you enter gross income with an estimated deduction percentage, the dashboard will estimate net.
How is emergency fund coverage calculated?
Emergency fund months = emergency fund savings / total monthly costs.
How is rent pressure calculated?
Rent + utilities as a percentage of net income. Healthy is below 30%, Risky is above 50%.
